The Britannic Explorer offers cinematic journeys through some of the most majestic landscapes in Britain. Three routes will initially be on offer, all departing from London: Cornwall, The Lake District and Wales. Immersed in the landscapes that it passes through, The Britannic Explorer offers bespoke offboard excursions and exquisite seasonal menus. Renowned chef Simon Rogan joins the team as Culinary Curator, where he will focus on locally sourced produce that celebrates the best of the British Isles. Luxury accommodation includes three meticulously crafted Grand Suites, two fine-dining restaurant cars, decadent bar, observation car and wellness suite, catering to every guest need.

L’Observatoire Suite
Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, Europe
An artwork in motion, the L’Observatoire Suite designed by French artist JR is a first for this legend of the rails. Unveiled during the Venice Biennale this year, the suite takes over a full carriage. Inspired by the cabinets of curiosity of Renaissance Europe, the suite features detailed marquetry, stained glass and even a free-standing bathtub. It also has endless secrets to explore, from hidden libraries to concealed drawers containing original JR artworks, making it a journey within a journey. This represents a new chapter in the illustrious history of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, breathing fresh creativity into the original 1920s and 1930s carriages.

Perched high above Portofino and set amongst tiered gardens, the 16th century former monastery that is Splendido has been beloved by Hollywood movie stars since the 1950s, when it came to epitomise exclusivity and dolce vita on the Italian Riviera. A new legend is now being written with a sensitive, multi-year renovation by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, which will come to fruition next year. Also in 2025, Splendido will be joined by Villa Beatrice, offering panoramic views from your own private Portofino. A fleet of seven floating luxury villas that weave their way through the waterways of France, Les Bateaux Belmond offer fully customised itineraries that focus on the culture, history and terroir of each region. A new Bordeaux route starting in 2025 combines exploration of UNESCO world heritage regions with exclusive access to ancient wine domains. The epitome of slow luxury, guests can choose their own pace of exploration – relaxing on deck or indulging in excursions. In 2025, celebrated three-Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn joins Les Bateaux Belmond as the brand's first Culinary Curator, harnessing rich local produce and traditions in her menu.
